A recurring issue that I have been following for some time is the effect that the ecosystem of interruption technologies (hat tip to Cory Doctorow for coining the phrase) has upon our brains. I have been focusing upon technologies, but as Jason Fried points out in this video, it is not just technology but even the ways in which we organize our workplaces that disrupt our flow of attention.
